No Notion? No problem.
I love bookmarking stuff online. Like cool rocks found on a walk, every time I come across something neat, I want to put it in my pocket so I can admire it forever. I do this a lot with sewing patterns and recipes, things I could plausibly want to reference someday, but I also have dozens of bookmarks that I save just because I think the website is pretty cool. This is why my phone has at least thirty open tabs at any given time, which get closed in a roughly twice-yearly purge when I decide to finally act on what's in them, or bookmark them neatly.
I also like organizing things and putting them in neat little containers. Every time I do a spring cleaning, I want to use all my pretty boxes to put stuff in, with the result that I have no idea where anything is and don't end up using any of my stuff more often. No, I still haven't learned my lesson.
When I started using Notion a few years ago, these two tendencies collided, so I created a bunch of pages to stash away my bookmarks in collapsible lists, with added commentary. The result is much the same as when I put physical objects in small containers, though at least bookmarks are searchable. Now, Notion has very rudely informed me that I've run out of pages on the free plan, and I can't even update my existing pages. And if one thing is clear, it's that I do not like that app enough to pay for it. Hell, I barely like it enough to use the free version. So, instead, all my precious shinies are going on this website, and I might even get some organizing done in the process.
So, behold: a new page has appeared on the blog. To be updated as I go through my bookmarks.
